One day closer to summer

Tonight is the night we lose an hour, but gain more daylight. I am very excited, because the days will feel a lot longer now. Today it was dark at 6:15-6:30 p.m., but those days are gone. The store was pretty empty most of the day because the halibut commercial fishing opened today and half the town went fishing, or maybe even two thirds of our small town. The highschool kids have been playing basketball in Ketchikan this week, trying to qualify for the State championship in Anchorage in about 1 1/2 week and the girls won their games, the boys didn't. Who would have guessed that I would become such a huge basketboll fan. I wish I could travel to Anchorage with half the town to watch the games but most of our workers will be gone so I have to stick around...
Wanted to add that Troy is healing really fast. The wound is closing up and it didn't get infected. I am so thankful.
