Worked at the restaurant yesterday morning and got a lot of tips even though it was pretty slow, because we didn't have a dishwasher this morning so I didn't have to share with anyone. Met with my math tutor for 30 minutes and then I drove 15 min. to the Memorial Service for my friend who was killed in a murder/suicide drama. It was nice to hear people tell stories about his life, but so sad to watch his mother talk about him. No mother should have to lose a child...
Last night I decided to play soccer, to celebrate life. There was only 9 of us, and the field was soaking wet, and then it started to rain, but it was still super fun... A girl on my soccer team is trying to convince me to try hockey this winter, and I am very tempted, but am not sure about my skating skills. It has been so many years since I figure-skated, and I know it will be really different to use hockey skates. Not sure if I can afford it either...
Today I got to the college early and met with Joe and my math tutor. Ended up studying math for 3,5 hours and I am starting to get it, I think. Work at the photo shop was slow, so I was able to stay a little longer than I had planned. A friend stopped by and wanted me to come over and hang out tonight, but I had to turn down the offer because I have too much to do right now. Bummer! I also saw an old co-worker from my hospital day, haven't seen her since 2-3 years back. I am so glad to be back in Homer!
