"Fika" with the girls

There really needs to be a word that means "fika" in English. Saying we went out for coffee, just isn't the same, because what if I didn't drink coffee??? Anyway, had a wonderful time with two girlfriends this morning. They are both funny, and putting the two of them together, you never know what will happen! Afterwards I went to see my old ASL teacher and practised sign language for over an hour. If I someday happen to have a lot of spare time (not very likely but still), I want to use it to learn lots of languages. It's like I can't get enough, but your memory can only hold so many new words or signs at a time...
Spent a lot of time on the phone as I was cleaning and sorting papers.
Since it was my day off, I thought I should multi task and get organized while catching up with friends! Where does all these papers come from???? If I just filed them right away, I wouldn't be in this giant mess now. Went to the movies tonight. Fantastic film, I will recommend to anybody I know, about a homeless black boy that gets taken in my a wealthy white family and he becomes a famous football player. It was a true story which made it even so much better. To witness true acts of love is wonderful! I was going to go by myself but a friend called me up and asked if I wanted to go, she was going to go by herself too, so it worked out pretty perfect!
