Packed an overnight bag, checked out the new job postings, filled up the car and headed to Anchorage this afternoon. The drive went great and the weather was gorgeous. Nothing can really beat the sight of the snow-covered mountains, sun reflecting in the water and waterfalls rushing with melting snow. I am so lucky to be living in such a beautiful state. Seven years ago, I wasn't to excited to move here, but this place slowly captured my heart.
We stopped at the mall and had some Chinese/Korean food for dinner before we came to spend the night at my friends' house here in Anchorage. Tomorrow my truck is coming on the ferry and we'll go and pick her up in the morning.
