Rummage sale

(Saturday, April 26, 2008)

I was able to take a look at the apartment I am moving into this week. It was a lot bigger than I remember from being in there about 4-5 years ago and very fresh. I think I will like it a lot. The family that lived there had two kids, a dog, a cat and they were expecting another child so I think it will feel even bigger when I move in because they had it crammed full with beds and stuff...
Afterwards I went to rummage sale and I might have found an old hide-a-bed couch for free, unless somebody else picks it up before Thursday. It would be nice to sleep on that till I can find an affordable mattress.
Bought some salad from the grocery store salad bar and drove down to the beach and ate my lunch. Homer is very beautiful, and I am thankful I could come back.
Rented some movies and had a girls night with Mei. She had brought some chocolate covered macadamia nuts from her last trip to Hawaii this winter and I enjoyed them very much.
I also got an exciting offer to go visit my family in Dallas later this summer, it's a trip that is much overdue...
